Hong Kong China International Tattoo Convention
Tattoos are becoming more socially acceptable in Hong Kong, as new generations have started to embrace tattoos as works of art and have battled the stigma that surrounds them. There are stories behind every tattoo; people see them as an artistic expression of oneself. Hong Kong needs a great convention to gather people with or without tattoos to share their admiration for this body art.
In 2013, we produced Hong Kong's first-ever three-day International Tattoo Convention together with the organizer. More than 100 international tattooists were featured in the Convention, including the renowned Robert Hernandez and Shigenori Iwasaki.
The Convention successfully embeded Hong Kong on the global tattoo-map, and it has become an annual event highly anticipated by people all around the world.
